Galway's Joe Canning is a major doubt for Saturday's Leinster SHC semi-final against Kilkenny in Tullamore.
The brilliant Portumna ace is understood to have aggravated stomach and groin problems.
Canning reportedly suffered the injuries at Galway's training camp last week in Enfield and failed to take part in the final planned training session as a result.
The winners of the historic clash will meet either Dublin or Wexford in the Leinster decider.
